The Senior Center provides services to older adults in the Villages of Waunakee and Dane and the Townships of Dane, Springfield, Westport and Vienna. We strive to provide advocacy, programs and services that assist seniors to maintain their dignity and remain independent in their own homes and communities. The primary focus of the case management program is to provide older adults support, resources, and community services.

The ADRC provides information to the general public about services, resources, and programs in areas such as: disability and long-term care related services and living arrangements, health, adult protective services, employment and training for people with disabilities, transportation, home maintenance and nutrition. ADRC staff will provide help to connect people with those services and to also apply for SSI, Foodshare, and Medicaid as needed.

The Area Agency on Aging of Dane County serves individuals who are age 60 and over and/or their family members by providing information and assistance in accessing services that will help older adults stay in their own homes and communities. The amount of assistance that is provided is dependent upon the needs of the older adult. These services can be short-term (such as getting signed up for a prescription drug program) or long-term (such as someone who is frail or who has a chronic health condition receiving ongoing monitoring and support from a Case Manager) and anywhere in between. Examples of community-based services include: congregate and home delivered meals, caregiver support, case management, and help with benefit questions.
