2026 Spring Election Information
• The Spring Primary is Tuesday, February 17
• The only office on the Ballot is Dane County Circuit Court Judge Branch 1
• All voting for Town of Dane residents will be at the Dane Town Hall, 213 W. Main Street, Dane WI 53529 from 7 AM until 8 PM.
• Photo ID is required for all voters. PLEASE NOTE: ID must be unexpired or expired after 11/5/2024

The polling place is accessible for the elderly and those with disabilities. Curbside voting is available for voters unable to enter the polling place due to disability.
Absentee voting information:
You may request a mailed absentee ballot at myvote.wi.gov for this election or any 2026 election. Please Note- all calendar year 2025 absentee ballot requests have expired, please renew your request.
Please request your absentee ballots as soon as possible. If your photo ID is not on file you will be asked to upload a copy of your photo ID. Ballots for requests on file will be mailed by January 27.
In-person absentee voting will take place at the Dane Town Hall from February 3-15. Photo ID is required. By appointment only, call or text the Clerk at 608-575-3365. Appointments usually available from 11 AM to 4 PM daily.

Voter Registration Information:
• Check your voter registration status at myvote.wi.gov.
• The online and by mail registration deadline is January 28.
• You may register to vote in the Clerk’s Office with proper proof of residence until 5 PM on February 13. By appointment only, call or text the Clerk at 608-575-3365. Appointments available from 11 AM to 4 PM daily.
• You may register to vote at the polls on Election Day with proper Proof of Residence.
